In 2020 we held over a dozen letter-writing retreats in the months leading up to the 2020 General Election.  Some 650 of us got together online and wrote more than 30,000 letters to voters in swing states, including Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan and others.  We helped create a nationwide groundswell of support that elected a Democratic president, and later carried two Senatorial runoff elections in Georgia.
This year we hope to build on our past successes — but we’re changing our format slightly.  After you register, we’ll send you a packet of materials, as in 2020, consisting of a Retreat Materials kit (Retreat Schedule, Guidelines, Chants); and a Letter Writing kit (Letter Writing Instructions plus Sample Wording for Letters, plus the letters themselves).
THIS TIME YOU WON’T GET A HARD COPY PACKET IN THE MAIL:  INSTEAD WE’LL EMAIL IT TO YOU!
You’ll need to print the packet and letters yourself, and buy stamps and envelopes.  And after you’ve written the letters, you won’t be sending them back to us for safekeeping:  instead you’ll keep them yourself and then mail them out in October just before the election.  (We’ll send you a reminder).

After you register, we’ll email you your packet and letters.  In advance of the retreat, you’ll need to do the following:

      • Print out the packet and letters that we’ll email to you
      • Purchase 20 envelopes and 20 first class stamps.
You can buy envelopes at Office Depot, Staples, Target, Walgreens, or your local stationery supply store.  Stamps are available at your local post office.  If you don’t have a printer, you can print out your materials at many of these same stationery stores, or your local library or university (here are some tips on how to print your documents).  Thanks for your participation, see you soon!
